Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

About

My Approach

I am a Certified Counselor and have been practicing since 2021. I specialize in working with adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. My work is grounded in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and a gentle, collaborative style that invites you to slow down, notice what’s happening inside, and reconnect with your internal resources.

In our sessions, you can expect a combination of talking, mindful attention to your inner experience, and guided somatic practices that help you notice sensations, emotions, and protective patterns that may be shaping your life. My intention is to help you develop a sense of safety within your own system, and from there, explore the deeper layers of your story with compassion and steadiness.

What Therapy Can Support

Clients often come to me wanting to:

  • Understand emotional patterns that feel confusing or stuck

  • Heal the impacts of past experiences, including trauma

  • Feel more grounded, present, and capable of self-regulation

  • Build self-compassion and reduce self-criticism

  • Develop a clearer sense of who they are and what they want

  • Reconnect with joy, ease, and authenticity

“Integration” — a central part of my work — involves bringing together the parts of you that have been working hard to protect you. When these parts feel safer and more understood, many clients notice a shift toward greater clarity, steadiness, and wholeness.

What It’s Like to Work Together

My style is warm, attuned, and paced with great care. I don’t rush the process, and I don’t expect you to have everything figured out. Instead, we build a relationship where you can explore your inner landscape at a pace that feels supportive. Many clients share that they feel deeply seen, gently guided, and better able to inhabit their bodies and emotions.

While the work may feel reflective and exploratory, it is also practical: together, we identify skills and practices you can use in daily life to support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and meaningful change.

Who I Work With

I primarily work with adults seeking support with:

  • Trauma and trauma-related symptoms

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, and persistent stress

  • Patterns of emotional reactivity or shutdown

  • Grief and loss

  • Personal growth, identity, and major life transitions

  • Highly sensitive or introspective individuals who benefit from a mindful, grounding approach

If you’re unsure whether your concerns fit, you are welcome to reach out — we can explore it together.

What Guides Me

Mindfulness and somatic practices are not only tools I use clinically; they are foundations of my daily life. The photos on this site are moments I’ve captured during pauses that nourish me — being on the water, hiking in the mountains, or wandering through the desert. My connection with nature, travel, and loved ones continually reminds me of the spaciousness, resilience, and meaning that can emerge when we slow down enough to listen.

These experiences inform my therapeutic presence: grounded, attentive, and oriented toward the possibility of transformation.

Moving Forward

Whether you’ve been contemplating therapy for a long time or you’ve only recently started considering support, I’m here to help you explore the next step. If what you’ve read resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. You deserve support that feels safe, attuned, and aligned with your needs.

I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you in your healing and growth.
